Building Renovation Technician
This program provides students with the knowledge and skills necessary to work in the building renovation/construction field, an integral part of the Canadian architecture sector. It is necessary to maintain and repair old buildings, as well as adapt them for new uses. According to the Canadian Building Industry Association, over half of all new construction in Canada is choosing to renovate an existing building instead of building a new one. Students will learn building renovation techniques, woodworking, and how to properly utilize newly developed building materials.
