Horticulture/Landscape Technician
Horticulture is the culmination of all agricultural theories and knowledge. Research includes vegetable and fruit crops for healthy eating, and flowering and ornamental plants for beautiful and comfortable living environments. We have a curriculum that seeks to develop the field of horticulture into a more scientific and active theory and practice-based discipline. You can become a professional who can play a pivotal role in the horticulture industry by scientizing and advancing horticulture technology.
Landscape architecture is the art of creating landscapes and is concerned with the use, development, and creation of all outdoor spaces and land, especially for human use. It’s a multidisciplinary science and art that creates and preserves environments that make them more functional, economical, and aesthetic. As a landscape architecture major, you’ll be trained to become a planning and design professional who can handle the wide range of spaces that landscape architecture covers, from home gardens to large national parks.
